Western Wisconsin Conservation Council (WWCC) is offering a program in 2022 to help farmers create a Nutrient Management Plan (NMP). Thanks to a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), WWCC will be offering a virtual NMP planning workshop to help members create and implement NMP’s using SnapPlus, Wisconsin’s Nutrient Management Planning software.

  • Participants: Open to the first 5 WWCC members that apply who do not have an NMP, who currently outsource their NMP’s to others, or those who just want a refresher on SnapPlus.
  • Content: Series consists of 6 modules, all lasting 2 hours each, and delivered online by experienced instructors to teach Nutrient Management basics and the use of SnapPlus in creating Nutrient Management Plans; Instructors are available between sessions to assist with individual questions.
  • Incentive: up to $775/participant comprised of up to $375/participant for soil sampling (as well as preferred pricing on soil-sampling services through our approved provider) and $400/participant on completion of an NMP at the end of the course.
